DEXTER - North Country Riding Club will be holding their first horse show of the 2008 season, Sunday, June 1st with members and participants coming from all over Central & Northern Maine. The upcoming Equitation Show has 47 Classes focusing on everything from halter classes, English & Western classes to Lead Line for the youngest rider, draft / draft-cross halter class, and jumping. New this year is the Hack Classes and Bareback Equitation Class. NCRC shows are at Bud Ellms Field in the North Country Riding Club Arena in Dexter. Show registration starts at 7:00 am; Show time is 8:30 AM and will be held rain or shine (unless extreme conditions). All horses must have current rabies and coggins papers upon entering the Show Grounds for the safety of all horses.
NCRC holds their monthly meeting the last Wednesday of the month; 6:30 pm for Snack'n Chat and 7 pm meeting time and the public is invited. We hold our meetings at the Town Hall on Hall Street in Dexter; across from Abbott Memorial Library. Spectator admission & parking is free and food is available for the entire day.
