Planning Board

Planning Board meets the second and fourth Monday of the month at 5pm in the Town Hall meeting room.

Due to the COVID-19 Guidelines we will be restricting public access to the Town Office Meeting Room. A Zoom Meeting will be scheduled and, an invite will be sent out on Monday morning. The public will have access to view and listen; however comments will only be heard  during the Public Comment Period, as anyone attending via Zoom will be muted during the board meeting. If you are interested in attending via Zoom video conferencing; please reply to townmanager@greenvilleme.com before the 2nd and 4th Monday’s – 9:00am, and you will be added to the list. Anyone presenting to the board may attend via Zoom.

Meetings can be cancelled if there is no business to come before the Planning Board.

Permit Applications can be picked up at the Greenville Code Enforcement Office and needs to be in the Greenville Code Enforcement Office 2 weeks prior to board meeting to be placed on an agenda.

About the Planning Board

The Board consists of seven members each having one vote. Applications are reviewed and decisions rendered based on the voter approved Basic Land Use Ordinance for the Town of Greenville.

This lengthy document sets down guidelines and rules for all construction and “use” activities within the Town.
